The Wedding Industry
The ABC-Illinois scholarship program has been set up for members of the Illinois Branch to attend the Business of Brides conference in November of each year.
The goal of the program is to provide a ‘free’ conference fee to a deserving individual. This scholarship will be awarded on an annual basis to a person who has committed their time to attend the conference.
Requirements
* Be an ABC-IL Member in good standing for at least 6 months
* Attended at least 2 Branch meetings within the past year
* Never attended a conference before
* Write a one-page essay explaining why you would like to attend conference and what benefit you will get from attending

Deadline:

Must be received by August 15th.

Application and Essay must be submitted via Email to the ABC Illinois State Coordinator…. Judy Alden @aol.com

Notification:
|
Winner will be notified by September 10th. The award must be used for the current year’s conference or it will be forfeited and given to the 2nd runner up.

Amount:
|
The amount awarded will be paid directly to the Association in CT to cover the registration fee only. Airline & hotel reservations are the responsibility of the winning individual.

Decision:

Judges decision is final.

Donations are an important part of making this scholarship possible. Your Illinois Branch of ABC endows one scholarship a year. In an effort to maintain this scholarship, your Illinois Branch of ABC is conducting fundraising efforts through the sale of the following items with your Association logo:
- Padfolio -- Black Leatherette with zipper -- $15
- Pen – Charcoal Executive -- $5
- Tote Bag – Ivory & Black Canvas -- $10
- Notebook – Silver Gray Wire-Bound 5x7 -- $5
- Pen – Silver -- $2
